Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: September 11, 2026

This page explains how to delete data that Voo holds, including data accessed through connected platforms such as Meta Ads, Facebook Pages, Instagram, and Google Ads. It is referenced from Voo’s Meta app configuration as the User Data Deletion instructions URL, alongside the automated deletion callback described in Option 2.

Option 1: Disconnect a platform (immediate)

A workspace administrator can remove any connection in the App under Settings → Integrations. Open the provider (for example, Meta Ads), then choose Disconnect.

Disconnecting:

  • deletes the stored access token and credentials for that connection immediately;
  • stops all further reads of that platform’s data;
  • removes cached performance data used to render reports.

Voo reads advertising data on demand to draw dashboards and does not keep an independent copy of your platform’s records beyond those caches.

Option 2: Remove Voo from your Meta account

You can also revoke Voo’s access from Meta’s side:

  1. Go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations on Facebook (or Apps and websites for a personal account).
  2. Find Voo and choose Remove.
  3. Tick the option to delete the data Voo may have received, if offered.

Removing the app revokes Voo’s access token immediately, so no further Platform Data can be read. Meta also sends Voo a signed data-deletion request. Voo verifies the signature, deletes the stored tokens and any cached Platform Data tied to your Meta account, and returns a confirmation code with a status URL you can check at any time. Email us (Option 4) if you want written confirmation as well.

For Google, visit Third-party apps & services in your Google Account and remove Voo’s access.

Option 3: Delete a workspace or account

A workspace owner can delete the workspace under Settings → Workspace. To delete your individual account, email us (Option 4). Deleting a workspace removes clients, brands, tasks, files, meetings, generated media, invoices, connected credentials, and audit records for that workspace.

Option 4: Request deletion by email

Email support@voo.dev with the subject line “Data deletion request” from the address associated with your account, or with enough detail for us to identify the workspace, account, or Meta/Google account concerned.

We will:

  1. acknowledge the request within 3 business days;
  2. verify that you are entitled to make it (account owner, workspace administrator, or the person the data is about);
  3. delete the account data, stored connection credentials, cached platform data, uploaded files, and generated media you asked us to delete;
  4. confirm by email once complete.

Timelines

Action Timing

Data removed from backups Within 90 days

What we may retain

Some records must be kept for legal, tax, security, or fraud-prevention reasons, such as invoices and payment records (typically seven years) and minimal security logs (up to 24 months). These are kept only as long as required and are then deleted.

Data held by your agency

If you are a client of an agency that uses Voo, the agency controls the data in its workspace. We will forward your request to the agency and help them complete it, or you can contact them directly.
